About PAWS AP
Animal Rescue Tanuku (ART) began its animal-rescue and welfare work in Tanuku in 2018. Around 2023, the organization was formally registered as the Pavani Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
Our Story
ART and PAWS represent the same continuing animal-welfare effort: ART is the original name under which the rescue work began and continues as the rescue and field-operation wing, while PAWS is the registered organization.
Today, PAWS AP is being developed as a statewide volunteer coordination platform for this work. The website brings together volunteers from across Andhra Pradesh, helping coordinate animal rescues, welfare activities, volunteering, adoptions, and other support activities.
